Mission S.E.E.D. is a world's only high-impact initiative by The Better Human™ Life Foundation, operating in the Sundarbans.
We follow a 'Zero- Leakage' model where every ₹250 provides:
One month of schooling for a child at Safalya Academy, Sundarbans (a school by Sukher Swarga Foundation).
Livelihood security for our local teaching staff.
The planting of one native mangrove sapling on a vulnerable riverbank.
Supervision is provided by Shri Subhash Prasad Kumar (Retd. Judge) to ensure 100% direct impact.
Every ₹250 funds one month of schooling for an underprivileged child, secures the livelihood of 1 local teacher, and plants 1 native mangrove sapling

Ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and teachers is just as vital as providing quality education.
As part of our infrastructure and safety upgrades under Mission S.E.E.D., we have successfully installed 4 fire extinguishers at Safalya Academy.
Thank you to all our supporters and donors for helping us build not only a brighter future, but a safer one for our students!

A lot of climate talk gets stuck in conference halls and aesthetic slide decks.
A few years ago, we realized worrying about the planet from a couch wasn't helping anyone.
Eco-anxiety is REAL, but the only real cure for it is to ACT upon it.
Awareness without action is no awareness at all.
That mindset is how The Better Human Life Foundation took shape.
No corporate jargon, no leaking funds - just straight, verifiable work.
Whether it’s adopting a school and supporting mangroves in the Sundarbans, running a public library in a remote village, installing hundreds of bird nests, or seeing thousands of school kids call out greenwashing through WriteToWin.
Take a look if you're curious about what we’ve been building:

Opening the Subhash Public Library at Safalya Academy 📚🌱
For years, I had a quiet dream: to build a library where anyone could walk in and read without hesitation or barriers.
Today, in a quiet corner of the Sundarbans, that dream came alive.
At Safalya Academy, we’ve officially opened the Subhash Library (সুভাষ গ্রন্थागार / सुभाष पुस्तकालय) - named in honour of our director, Shri Subhash Prasad Kumar.
The most special part?
Every day after 12 PM, this library is completely open to the public.

Anyone from Manipur village and the surrounding riverbank - whether a school student, a young adult, or an elder - can walk in, sit down, and spend time with these books.
To be honest, real ground impact has never been just about planting saplings. While our mangrove and palm bio-shields protect vulnerable riverbanks from erosion, lasting transformation happens only when minds evolve.
That’s why these shelves aren't just stocked with school syllabus books. We’re curating literature, science, and progressive philosophical works to encourage independent, critical thought. Because power cuts are a daily reality here, we’ve also installed rechargeable study lamps so evening reading never stops.
Seeing local residents and children with books in their hands brings a kind of peace that words can't capture. Safalya Academy is truly the beating heart of our foundation family.
A sapling holds the soil today; an enlightened mind transforms the world tomorrow.
Thanks to our donors, who believe in us. 💚

Exciting progress is underway for our community! As part of Mission S.E.E.D., we have officially begun setting up the school’s new library space.
Access to books transforms how children learn, imagine, and grow.
This dedicated reading corner will give students a quiet, inspiring environment filled with storybooks, reference materials, and learning resources that nurture curiosity beyond the daily curriculum.
What’s happening on the ground:
Space setup: Shelving, organization, and child-friendly seating arrangements are taking shape.
Curating the collection: We are cataloging an initial set of foundational readers, regional language storybooks, and STEM/nature-focused titles.
Creating a community habit: Setting up simple lending and storytelling routines with teachers so the space thrives from day one.
A heartfelt thank you to every supporter whose contributions make tangible milestones like this possible.
We will share another update - along with photos of the finished shelves and our first readers - very soon!

On Swapan Suin’s (Mangrove Boy of India) birthday, our ground team and local students achieved an incredible milestone for Mission S.E.E.D.: preparing nursery beds and potting packets for 8,000 mangrove seeds in just 2.5 hours.
This rapid ground mobilization marks the official kickoff of our nursery phase. Mangroves serve as the delta’s frontline defense against storm surges and coastal erosion. Through our tripartite model, this initiative directly integrates:
Ecosystem Restoration: Laying the foundation to grow thousands of coastal shield trees.
Community Livelihoods: Creating fair, dignified daily work for local delta residents.
Childhood Education: Funding local schooling and climate literacy for coastal youth.
Operating under our 100% zero-leakage policy, all contributions go straight to ground operations, nursery materials, and community wages.

Yesterday, we planted a new batch of mangrove saplings in the Sundarbans under Mission S.E.E.D.
Every sapling rooted in this unique delta adds a vital layer of coastal defence, restores critical blue carbon sinks, and protects local biodiversity against severe tidal surges and climate shocks.
A heartfelt thank you to our supporters and community partners for making this ground-level impact possible.
More updates and on-ground photos coming soon! 🌱🌊
